A Journey to Reconnect with Nature and Build a Legacy in Wyoming

Josh Smunk is a passionate outdoorsman, wildlife enthusiast, and entrepreneur with a deep-rooted commitment to nature, conservation, and self-reliance. For 12 years, Josh successfully founded, operated, and grew Summit Tree Experts, a highly regarded tree care business. During that time, he built a reputation for excellence in tree care while also training hunting dogs and guiding outdoor adventures in Minnesota. However, despite his success in the business world, Josh felt a pull to something more—a desire for a life that more closely aligned with his core values, one that prioritized freedom, responsibility, and sustainability. 

Once we settled into Wyoming, we got to work. Our vision was clear: create a business that was grounded in our love for the land, wildlife, and outdoor adventure. We didn’t want to just create a business—we wanted to offer something that aligned with our values of sustainability, conservation, and self-reliance.  From hunting to business, from community service to daily life, every step is part of our mission to live a life that’s rooted in the land we love!
